Caffe' Bobby Haarms- The First Approach

One step back; remember that kid? In your oppinion, what does this young guy do in the European capitol of vices? Women, smoke? Alcohol? NO! No sir, none of the above (apart form the beer.... that maybe.... well!...) The kid does everything to 'get to know' the atmosphere that surrounds Ajax, to fit in with what had started as a game, and had now become a passion.....
And all of this helped by an encounter in a pub! An encounter with the pub owner, the launchpad that closed the inner circle, the pub called Caffe' Bobby Haarms and it's proprietor Jan.
At The Bobby Haarms Cafe' it would become a ritual not only to have a beer in the pub, but with time much more. Everytime the Club "lands" in the area, there is a party worth noting.
Inside the "Bruine Cafe'" of Utrechtsestraat in Amsterdam, (in the midst of all paraphanelia hung on the walls and ceiling), with a keen eye one can find a photo or two of our club, along with our club scarf.
Upon our return to Itlay the stories of this crazy kid awoke the curiosity of friends, along with whom a tradition began of watching Ajax games on TV together when possible. This turned into get togethers, then a 5 man soccer team named Ajax Club Bologna. And still today after 10 years, what started as a game, has continued to accumulate 'victims'!
